filling

  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • 2 table spoons of flour
  • 2/3 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon of allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
  • 8 to 10 tart apples
  • 19″ unbaked deep dish pie shell

topping

  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of slightly soften butter

Directions

  1. preheat oven to 400f
  2. peel and core apples
  3. cut apples in half then thinly slice apples roughly 1/8 inch thick
  4. add sliced apples to bowl with the dry ingredients for filling1 then mix
  5. partially bake pie crush for 10 to 15 min or till golden brown
  6. now drain the apples MAKE SURE TO KEEP LIQUID and layer apples in pie crust
  7. cut butter into 1/2 inch slices then add all topping ingredients to the liquid from the apples
  8. mix topping ingredients till it becomes like clumpy sand
  9. use the topping to cover the apples in the pie crust making sure you can’t see any apples
  10. then bake pie for 45 to 50 min or until topping is golden brown
  11. once done baking cool for 2 hours
  12. then injoy
